Position:

Sucrose Mixer / Bulk Operator This position starts at $20.11 + $.30 shift differential = $20.41/hour COS night shift 7pm-7am

Purpose:

To prepare liquid sucrose or bulk granulated sugar loads and ensure final product meets or exceeds customer requirements.

Educational Requirements:

High School degree/GED equivalent. Read and write English.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform efficient and productive valve changes, assign recipe to batches, follow SOPs, plant rules, HAACP, and mixing instructions with ability to work on O /I. Properly follow protocol to acquire dry and wet samples. Competently complete QA testing and adjust batches to meet customer requirements. Timely and accurate completion of all documentation including the Trailer inspection form. Demonstrate proficiency in recording seal numbers, venting trailer, hooking up and identifying samples and delivering those samples to QA as well as scale operations and printing weight tickets. Operate Whirl Air System. Sanitize individual pieces of equipment and lines, hook up and load bulk trucks. Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Requires operator experience and a plus if in a related field. Must have forklift experience and ability to regularly lift 50 lbs.

Manufacturing Associate/Operator

SUMMARY/PURPOSE

The purpose of this position is to accurately pack all products and to maintain quality control by only packing items that meet specifications. This position inspects for seals, product and code dates on all products packed in cases or bags. This position also ensures proper pack size for each product and the correct stacking pattern on the specified pallet.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 1.

Verify product, and package meet specifications. 2. Sets aside product not meeting specifications to be reworked later. 3. Ensures that pack size, lot code and pallet is correct for the product being packed. 4. Labels all cases with the appropriate label to indicate product inside and lot code. 5. Stacks cases on pallets safely and to customer specifications. 6. Keep area clean and neat at all times. 7. Complies with all safety guidelines and rules.

ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS 1.

Maintains Good Housekeeping Standards by cleaning machines, mopping, sweeping, organizing, and removing trash in the packing area. 2. Performs assigned daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning assignments. 3. Performs other job related duties as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to four (4) hours.
• Must be able to bend, stoop and move up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Must possess finger and hand dexterity for working on machines
• Must demonstrate cooperative behaviors such as effective communications with others and showing respect for others at all times.
• Demonstrated ability to be punctual.
• Demonstrated reliability in attendance and consistency in performing job duties.
• Must demonstrate ability to follow standard procedures, with excellent attention to detail.
