Job Description
Job description: Radienz Living is a leading North American manufacturer of home and personal care products, such as unit dose laundry and dish products, facial wipes, and baby wipes. Background:
- The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating various types of production machinery and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Load and unload raw materials into production machinery to maintain continuous and efficient operations Inspect finished products at regular intervals to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met Accurately complete required production reports and data entries in a timely manner Start up production lines and verify proper machine setup and functionality Set up, adjust, and calibrate machinery in accordance with production specifications and standard operating procedures Verify incoming materials for accuracy, quality, and readiness for production use Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues during operation to minimize downtime Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area Work collaboratively with production, quality, maintenance, and material handling teams to support efficient workflow •
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate Working knowledge of production machinery and equipment Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues Results-driven, dependable, and self-motivated work ethic Ability to work effectively with cross-functional team members Demonstrated problem-solving skills related to operational and maintenance issues Experience performing quality control checks and completing required production reporting Ability to train or assist other employees as needed Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to understand and follow written and verbal work instructions in English Basic math skills required Must be at least 18 years of age Perform additional tasks as assigned to support production operations •
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and twisting Manual dexterity to operate machinery, tools, and controls Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and moving machinery Required use of personal protective equipment, including steel-toe boots •
