Job Description

Job Summary Shifts:
Wednesday through Saturday 7pm-finish Sun-Wed 8pm-Finish We are seeking a dedicated Loader/Unloader to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading goods, ensuring safe handling and accurate placement of materials. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks. This position plays a vital role in maintaining smooth shipping and receiving operations, supporting overall warehouse productivity, and adhering to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes Safely handle materials during transportation within the warehouse or construction sites Operate heavy machinery in accordance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory movements accurately Assist with order picking and order fulfillment processes to ensure timely shipment Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to promote a safe working environment Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing goods Perform heavy lifting tasks safely, following proper techniques to prevent injuries Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage solutions and workflow efficiency Experience Proven warehouse distribution experience with a focus on loading/unloading operations Prior experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks Knowledge of materials handling procedures within a warehouse or construction environment Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting basic equipment issues Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar inventory tracking tools Previous roles involving shipping & receiving, order picking, or logistics coordination Warehouse supervisor experience is advantageous but not required Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks and repetitive movements Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards This position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals committed to precision, safety, and operational excellence.
