Machine Adjuster Assistant

Adjuster Assistant Job Description Join our team as an Adjuster Assistant on our team, currently hiring for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd shift schedules full-time Monday-Friday. This role would be working alongside a Sr. Set-up Operator, and trained on the fundamentals of machine set-up and change-over with the opportunity to get promoted to an official set-up operator ($4 per hour increase). This position is based out of Waukegan, IL and can pay between $20-24.00 per hour based off skills & experience. Responsibilities Keep the work areas clean and organized. Supply machines with paper, ink, and glue. Change paper rolls and printing plates. Assist with packing as needed. Essential Skills Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand tools. Ability to pass math, ruler, and mechanical tests. Physical capability for walking, bending, reaching, and lifting. Keen attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and collaborate with other adjusters. Previous machine operating experience is preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1+ year of mechanical aptitude and production/machine operating experience. Steady work history with more than 2 years at one company in the past 10 years. Highly motivated individual. Experience from packaging, metals, printing, or converting industry is advantageous. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Waukegan, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
