Fabric Cutter

Clearstaff in Chicago is currently in need of Fabric cutters with use of Rotary scissors for a customer that manufactures uniforms in the Wheeling, IL area. 1st shift 7AM-3:30PM $17.00 (

Seasonal Position:

from June until October)

Skills:

OWN Transportation required( Not Public transportation accessible ) Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and switch between tasks when asked Strong sense of responsibility Reliable attendance and reliable transportation Must be able to sit or stand for long hours throughout shift depending on the given task Must be able to understand process specifications and use them to complete the assigned task. Great communication skills Must be able to lift to 25+ lbs. Stand for long periods of time MUST be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the

English Responsibilities:

Cutting:

Cutting, Counting, and Bagging orders as they come off the transfer machine Be in constant communication with the production manager if there are any defects or misprints to the order. Cutters will be required to use a Rotary Cutter to perform their daily tasks Read and comprehend uniform patterns. spread fabric rolls evenly onto large cutting tables, checking for proper grain alignment and surface tention.
