Machine Operator

Job Title:

Machine Operator Job Description We are seeking skilled machine operators to join our team at a metal stamping facility. This position involves operating one of the 20 presses and working collaboratively in teams of up to four individuals. Your primary responsibilities will include placing raw materials on the press, ensuring safety by using sensors, and inspecting finished parts for quality. This role is integral in supporting the automotive and heavy equipment industries. This is a Union facility. Responsibilities Operate one of the 20 presses within a team setting. Place raw materials on the press and adhere to safety protocols. Conduct visual inspections of finished parts. Use gauges to ensure parts meet specifications. Essential Skills Experience in manufacturing and machine operation. Ability to lift up to 45 pounds. Consistent job history. Proficiency in assembly and inspection tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in steel stamping and press operation is advantageous. Ability to interpret blueprints. Wearing steel-toed boots is required. Why Work Here? • Thursday),4 10 hour days.

Will train on days from 5am-3:30pm for 3-6 weeks.

Pay:

• $18.48/hour.
• $0.65 shift bonus ($19.13) for 90 days and then $1.00 ($19.48) shift bonus after 90 days.

•.25 cent attendance bonus if they work with their full schedule for that week. Work Environment Our facility is a dynamic metal stamping environment supporting the automotive and heavy truck industries. While it is loud and not temperature-controlled, our culture is relaxed and cooperative. Employees wear jeans and steel-toed boots, and we offer union membership through UAW, though it is not mandatory. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bluffton, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.48
