This summer job is a great opportunity to earn some cash while gaining hands-on experience, build valuable skills, and learn in a supportive, real-world environment.
Position Overview:
As Summer Help, you will gain direct exposure to commercial overhead door systems, installation processes, and job site operations. You will work as part of a team, contributing to real projects while developing technical and professional skills. You will be exposed to the following systems and projects: Sectional overhead doors Rolling steel doors High-speed doors Sliding doors and operable partitions Dock levelers and gate operators What You'll Do Assist technicians with the installation, service, and maintenance of commercial door and dock systems Learn basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting techniques Support job site setup, material handling, and cleanup Help load, unload, and organize tools and materials Observe and learn how to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams Follow all OSHA and job site safety requirements Gain experience operating equipment (as appropriate and supervised) Represent Lensing professionally while working with team members and customers What We're Looking For At least 18 years old Someone excited to gain hands-on, real-world experience this summer Motivated, dependable, and ready to learn new skills Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude Team players who enjoy working alongside others Comfortable working outdoors and in different weather conditions Willing to stay active-this role includes physical work and learning to work at heights (with training provided) Reliable transportation and a commitment to showing up on timeAbility to perform physical tasks and work at heights (with training) No Experience? No Problem Even if you don't have prior experience, we welcome candidates who are eager to learn.
