Description
Looking for a new opportunity to jumpstart your career? We're immediately hiring Lead Operators to support Heartland Automotive's manufacturing operations. This position supervises and coordinates production workers who operate various equipment in a factory environment. As a Lead Operator, you will train and assist associates with basic maintenance, inspections, and measurements of multiple parts and products. Submit a quick application today!

Job Responsibilities
Assist with monitoring absenteeism, maintains time and production records
Ensures scrap is recorded accurately and disposed of daily; rework is completed daily
Assist in monitoring and maintaining all TPM goals
Informs Team Leader of Production Manger of any and all quality issues
Clears all faults and restarts machinery
Maintains 5S standards
Accurately completes paperwork and data entry
Fills in for associate when necessary
Maintains time and production records
Inspects and measures parts and products to verify conformance specifications
Analyzes and provides input to resolve work problems or assists associates in solving work problems
Tracks associates in area during emergency
Conducts associate cross-training to include maintaining and verifying performance levels and updating records/keeping records of progress
Leadership and decision-making skills
Strong interpersonal skills and good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to read and analyze information
Write reports and work instructions
Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office word
2 years of Manufacturing experience
Associate Requirements
HS Diploma or GED
Background Check
Able to Lift 50 pounds
Drug Test
Must be at least 18 years old
The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $18.00 - $18.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
