Job Description

Portage, IN 46368 Full-Time $19.50 - $20.50/hr 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shifts Available Weekly Pay Nexus Employment is hiring a Batch Mixer to join a growing manufacturing team in Portage, IN. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking for steady work, competitive pay, and long-term growth.
What You'll Do:
Gather, weigh, and mix ingredients according to batch recipes Cook and prepare finished batches for production use Read and follow batch records and production instructions Operate batching systems (heated & non-heated) Clean and sanitize batching equipment Perform basic preventative maintenance Follow all safety and quality procedures
What We're Looking For:
Manufacturing or batch mixing experience (preferred, not required) Basic computer skills (PLC experience a plus) Intermediate math skills Strong communication skills Self-motivated and able to work independently or with a team How to
