Job Description

Job Title:
Tie Rod Operator - 1st shift Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Tie Rod Operator, where you will be working in a state-of-the-art facility with injection molding machinery. Your role will involve overseeing the continuous operation of these machines, assembling parts using basic blueprints and work instructions, and ensuring the quality of the products. Responsibilities Monitor and operate injection molding machinery continuously. Use blueprints and work instructions for part assembly. Perform regular quality checks on parts and address any defects by coordinating with the setup operators. Communicate effectively with management and leadership about any issues. Work independently while managing multiple machines. Essential Skills At least 3 years of machine operation experience in an industrial manufacturing setting. 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial work. Ability to work at a consistent pace and independently in a cell environment. Proficiency in working with small parts and following detailed prints or work instructions. Experience with plastic injection molding and machine operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications A experience in plastic injection is highly desirable. Why Work Here? The facility is clean and continually upgraded, with approximately 50-60 employees on site. Work hours are from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the first shift, with potential overtime. The company values attendance highly and maintains a strict policy. Dress code includes jeans, a shirt, close-toe shoes, and necessary eye and ear protection. Enjoy the flexibility of listening to music with one earbud while staying aware of your surroundings. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Haven, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
