Job Description
Job Overview We are hiring a Sawyer to join our sawmill team. This position is responsible for operating saw equipment to cut logs and lumber safely and efficiently while maintaining production quality. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working in an industrial environment. Responsibilities Operate sawmill equipment to cut logs and lumber to required sizes Monitor cuts for accuracy and quality Adjust equipment as needed to maintain proper cuts Assist with moving and handling lumber and materials Keep work area clean and organized Follow all safety procedures and company policies Report equipment issues or maintenance needs Experience Experience operating saws, woodworking equipment, or similar machinery preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Strong attention to safety and detail Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
