Process Technician

Job Summary The Process Tech is responsible for process improvements, productivity increases, cost reductions and other manufacturing improvements, as well as, equipment and facility projects related to manufacturing. Responsibilities and Duties Manage and adjust machine settings : enter, verify, and adjust machine parameters to ensure optimal performance during production runs.

Recipe Management :

Maintain and update process recipes for various molds/machines, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all setups.

Startup :

Oversee the startup process for newly installed molds, including fine-tuning settings to achieve quality standards. Supporting installation activities to reduce machine downtime through accurate and timely changeovers.

Troubleshooting and Optimization :

Diagnose process issues, make necessary adjustments, and implement improvement to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or GED required; vocational training or Associate's Degree preferred. 5+ years of relevant work experience required. Experience with plastic extrusion required; experience with PET a plus. Strong mechanical, analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills required. Ability to prioritize and organize work with limited supervision. Ability to understand and communicate in English. Able to drive powered industrial trucks required.
