Job Description

Compounder 2nd Shift Hubot /Tri-Pac, Inc., a contract development and manufacturing company (CDMO) specializing in liquid and aerosol filling for personal care and pharmaceutical marketers, is seeking an experienced Compounder for immediate addition to our fast-growing team.
Job Description:
The Compounder handles the mixing of raw ingredients to produce finished bulk and maintains packaging line production by preparing batches based on product specifications. The Compounder pre-weighs per specifications and assists with minor lab testing, such as pH or chlorine content, and adjusts batches as required, and conducts batch analysis, as well as performs procedural clean-outs of tanks, equipment, fillers, and hoses. Responsibilities Prepare batches according to the recipes developed by the lab. Cleaning tanks/pumps/hoses before and after batching; cleaning validation completed per GMP guidelines and SOP's. Completes batch paperwork and follows GDP requirements for all plant documentation. Performs job functions according to plant QMS and HSE procedures. Direct participation in all Tri-Pac's validation and qualification activities. Assist with the delivery of batches to the production lines as needed. Maintain a tidy and neat batching area. Keep tools, pumps, and other equipment organized. Maintain the chemical storage area in an orderly and clean manner. Know and maintain the inventory of chemicals. Assist with the quarterly inventory of all plant materials. Notify maintenance and the R D director of any equipment issues. Improve batching and GMP knowledge through training sessions and reading technical publications. Know and understand the tanks, pumps, and filling systems with a focus on safety and operation procedures. Follow all safety rules as it relates to chemical storage and manufacturing. Wear required PPE and works safely so as not to injure self or others. Contributes to the organization's success by welcoming related, different, and new requests. Assumes other duties and responsibilities as required. Works independently and as a team. Desire to develop a deeper understanding of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and GMP regulations and guidelines. Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or GED equivalent Forklifts, pallet-jacks, and other material handling equipment operations Working understanding of tanks, pumps, and filling systems Practical and working experience with flammables and how to ground the equipment Benefits Competitive Salary/ Pay & Packages, Vacations, Insurance, 401K, Life Insurance, Disability (Long term/ Short term) and Continuous Training.
