Overview:
THE ROLE
The Position:
A Machine Operator is responsible for the day-to-day running of product through various pieces of equipment in a safe, quality focused, and efficient manner. Production Machine Operators are expected to learn multiple machines over time in order to maximize their individual talents as well as increase overall facility efficiency. This position requires a highly motivated individual willing to take on new challenges and expand one's knowledge base and skillset. Production Machine Operators need to be self-motivated, self-sufficient, and have the ability to self-start once adequate training and experience has been achieved in each applicable work center. The ability to work in teams, communicate effectively with all members of the company, and collaborate on tasks, projects, and initiatives is a critical must for the success of the company.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Comply with all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements of the facility as well as work center specific conditions. Ensure the daily safety checks of equipment is performed and that production is safe to begin in any and all assigned work centers. Assist team members in other work centers maintain safety protocols when additional support is needed. Perform daily inventories and verifications of all work center tooling and consumables; notify supervision of any needs. Monitor and adjust work center operational parameters in order to achieve quality and production performance requirements. Verify and certify the quality and integrity of all finished product prior to product(s) leaving the work center. Record accurate and complete production records pertaining to daily performance achievements and the company ERP system Assists the management team with the onboarding and training of new team members

REQUIREMENTS
): High School diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not mandatory Strong interpersonal skills Positive judgment and decision making abilities Capable of collaborating in teams and promoting positive team interactions
