Shift Job Description:

The Machine Operator III is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining manufacturing equipment in a sterile cleanroom environment. This role requires experience in machining operations, working within cell-based production setups, and ensuring product quality through adherence to strict manufacturing and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and set up machine tools such as lathes, mills, drills, punch presses, and saws Work in a sterile cleanroom environment following gowning procedures Perform machine adjustments and basic maintenance Inspect products using gauges, jigs, and fixtures to ensure close tolerances Monitor production quality using statistical process control methods Support continuous production processes using automated/semi-automated equipment Identify and report machine malfunctions or process issues Assist in assembly, packaging, and distribution operations as needed Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of experience in manufacturing/machining operations Experience working with machine tools and production equipment Ability to work in cleanroom and cell-based production environments Knowledge of measurement tools and quality inspection techniques Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

Vocational or technical training/certification in machining or manufacturing Experience with CNC or numerically controlled machines Exposure to medical device or regulated manufacturing environments Experience with statistical process control (SPC)
