Processing Machine OperatorAbout the Role The Processing Machine Operator supports KanPak's production operations by operating and maintaining processing equipment while ensuring product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance. This role is responsible for monitoring processes, performing sanitation and maintenance tasks, and supporting continuous production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You'll Do + Coordinate quality and production activities to support product quality, food safety, and operational goals + Follow daily production schedules based on product and business needs + Operate, clean, and troubleshoot processing equipment, including UHT (Stork), AST systems, and tube press + Perform homogenizer and Hydraulic Vacuum Assembly ( HVA ) rebuilding + Conduct repack and inspection activities for UHT processes + Perform ATP and allergen swabbing during cleaning and inspection procedures + Follow Lockout/Tagout ( LOTO ) procedures to ensure workplace safety + Monitor processing conditions, identify variances, and take corrective actions or escalate concerns + Communicate production or quality issues with supervisors and team leads + Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to meet food safety and quality standards + Participate in ongoing training related to processing operations and sanitation + Provide cross-functional support when operational needs arise + Assist with maintaining equipment and ensuring proper functionality What You'll Need + High School Diploma or GED required + 6-12 months of food manufacturing experience preferred + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality + Reliability, accountability, and integrity + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Effective communication skills + Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
