Machine Setup:

Act as the technical expert for our production line, focusing on hydraulic stamping presses (non-metallics).

Rapid Changeovers:

Perform frequent tooling changeovers multiple times a day to minimize downtime.

Troubleshooting & PM:

Optimize feed and control systems, diagnose mechanical issues on the fly, and perform daily preventative maintenance checks. Team Leadership (Secondary Focus)

Daily Strategy:

Partner with the Plant Manager each morning to map out production goals and shift priorities.

Coaching & Delegation:

Assign jobs to 4-8 operators, step in to train struggling team members, and maintain a high-respect, high-energy floor culture. What You Bring to the

Team Experience:

3 to 5+ years in manufacturing machine setups and tooling changeovers.

Press Expertise:

Background with press stamping equipment (metal stamping transitions perfectly!). Experience with Preco Presses is a major plus.

Tooling & Machine Setup:

Act as the go-to technical expert for our production line, focusing on hydraulic stamping presses (specifically non-metallics).

Rapid Changeovers:

Efficiently manage and perform frequent tooling changeovers multiple times a day to keep downtime to an absolute minimum.

System Calibration:

Configure and optimize feed and control systems to bring complex mechanical machinery to peak operational status.

Troubleshooting:

Monitor run quality constantly; step in to diagnose, adjust, and resolve mechanical or setup issues on the fly.

Proactive Maintenance:

Perform quick, daily preventative maintenance checks (checking belt tension, greasing fittings) to support our on-site maintenance team. Team Leadership & Culture (Secondary Focus)
