MACHINE OPERATOR

Machine Operator Summary:

Andax is looking for a machine operator to run our automated cutting table conveyor system. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, communicates well and is eager to learn. The operator will work from production orders and cut files to cut materials to required specifications while keeping waste low and production moving. Previous experience is a plus but not required — we offer paid, hands-on training.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Operate Automated Cutting Conveyor Table to produce components according to product specifications Set up machine parameters and load appropriate cutting files Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality and accuracy Maintain accurate records of job runs and machine usage Follow startup / shutdown procedures, calibration processes Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment All other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

Attention to detail and pride in doing quality work Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety requirements Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Familiarity with Windows-based software Strong reliability and attendance

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

Ability to read and understand CAD drawings Ability to use and read tape measures and calipers

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED equivalent Previous experience a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to traverse facility and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time Must have good hand/eye coordination
