Job Objective:

Responsible for the set-up and operation of spin lathes to create and form parts.

Essential Job Functions:

Ability to read and understand manufacturing work orders and complete documentation in an accurate and timely manner. Setup and operation of various machines such as hand spinning machines, hydro spinning machines and CNC spinning machines. Ability to use a variety of tools to form parts. Inspect parts against blueprints and specifications using measuring tools; ensuring product meets specified quality standards and correct dimensions. Frequently lifts 15

• 25lbs, lifts 50
• 70lbs throughout the workday.

Ability to understand and follow instruction. Standing the entire the workday. Using body leverage to form and shape aluminum parts. Frequently bending twisting and squatting. Frequently walks throughout the shop. Good communications skills.

Work Environment Usual working days/hours:

Monday thru Thursday 6:00am

• 4:30pm; Friday 6:00am
• 3:30pm. Working hours are subject to change based company needs, may require working on Saturdays. Manufacturing shop environment
• Hot during summer months High noise level.

Physically demanding job Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent. Minimum of 3 Years setting up and operating a Spinning Machine a plus. Good mechanical skills. Good math aptitude with the ability to add and subtract decimals. This position may be filled or closed to further application without notice. Globe Engineering Co.
