Job Summary:

The Slitting Operator is responsible for setting up and operating the Sepaslit slitting machine, properly measuring the aluminum foil and documenting, and labeling all slitting orders to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the product. Ensure that the material meets the company and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

SepaSlit machine operation, including: Choosing the materials from HBW and take it to the machine based on the product plan Feeding the material into the machine Inputting necessary parameter in control system for the product before machine start-up Monitoring the product situation (including the machine condition) during the operation Collecting scraped and rejected material, then transporting to the designated area Slitting shafts out and into set from/to the machine Precisely assemble the slitting knife unit (Top /Bottom) Changing the rubber roll when needed Manipulating the PHD equipment and the measured data handling Manipulating the flatness measuring equipment and measured data handling Recognizing the machine problems/abnormality and report them Supporting machine maintenance Material handling and lifting by crane Keeping clean working and production area Registration of production data Measurement and registration of quality parameters in production Supervision of tools and machine parts Support audits Documentation of non-conformities which are coming from rolling and corrective actions implementation according to instructions Adherence of safety and fire protection regulations to ensure you and your colleagues health Working according to quality, environmental, safety regulations, ISO standards, control plans, working instructions etc. Inform the maintenance department and shift coordinators in case of any machine breakdown Participate in internal rejection and claim investigations Participate in trainings Other duties and tasks as assigned

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required Vocational school is preferred Basic computer knowledge - basic level in MS Office (word, excel) Minimum of 2 years in metal or aluminum industry or equivalent Knowledge or experience working with or operating manufacturing machines

Physical Requirements:

While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee will be required to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time. Physically able to conduct inspections on machines and capable of physically moving equipment used for inspections. Lifting required. Must be comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment. Must be able to climb stairs frequently throughout each day. There are times when you will need to walk throughout the manufacturing plant floor or walk between buildings, which includes but is not limited to walking outside, walking up and down stairs, walking across metal grates and potentially being in contact with slippery surfaces.
