Machine Operator Job Description This role supports production operations by assisting with the setup, operation, and monitoring of a laser shaker machine. You will work alongside experienced operators, learn how the equipment functions, and help ensure that products meet quality and safety standards in a clean manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Assist with the daily operation of the laser shaker machine on the production line. Learn and apply proper machine operating procedures to ensure safe and efficient performance. Support setup, adjustment, and basic changeovers of the machine as directed. Use hand tools to perform simple machine-related tasks and adjustments. Monitor machine performance and promptly report any issues or irregularities to the lead operator or supervisor. Handle materials and finished products, including lifting items up to 50 lbs as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area around the machine to support safety and efficiency. Follow all safety guidelines, work instructions, and production procedures. Essential Skills Experience or strong aptitude in machine operation within a manufacturing or similar environment. Ability to use basic hand tools safely and effectively. Physical ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. Willingness to learn the operation and functions of a laser shaker machine. Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures. Commitment to maintaining safety and cleanliness in the work area. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience as a machine operator or machine helper in a manufacturing setting. Comfort working with mechanical equipment and learning new machinery.
