Emblem Machine Operators are responsible for applying emblems (such as patches or logos) to garments and apparel using the emblem machine(s).
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Set up the machine to include the threading of needles and bobbins Control and adjust machine settings as needed to maintain high-quality performance Position garments and patches in the correct placement on the machine Test the machine periodically and perform basic maintenance, including cleaning and replacing needles and bobbins Fix issues that might occur during the shift Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws, and ensure the finished garment conforms to the pick ticket instructions Follow standard operating procedures to achieve productivity and quality standards Cross-train and work in other areas within Production/Warehouse as needed Management reserves the right to assign other duties as needed
WHAT YOU BRING
Proven experience as a machine operator and familiarity with sewing are preferred Ability to work in a quick-paced environment with accuracy Experience working with regular keyboard functions Working knowledge of high-speed machinery Understanding of production procedures Adherence to health and safety regulations Ability to read a work instruction document (WID) in English Analytical skills Attention to detail Teamwork and communication skills Physical stamina and strength for standing for the entire shift and performing necessary movements to operate the machine Ability to work OT during the week and weekend as needed A high school diploma or equivalent technical degree is a plus
