Job Description
Assist Operator with line set up Assist Splitter/Re-roll with wrapping of finished pallets Ensure correct label is placed on product Expand glass to width of Customer Specification General Housekeeping of work area Identify and maintain Non-Conforming product Identify the material to be ran and the proper set up (i.e. line speed, temp) per Customer specification Input correct data regarding product (i.e. weight) Instruct conveyor personnel to their duties (i.e. proper pkg., pallets, etc) Maintain daily paperwork as required Maintain general housekeeping in work area Make let off table aware of product run schedule Package product according to Customer Specification (i.e. pallet, number of rolls on pallet, etc) Packers must get assistance with stacking and unstacking of pallets Preventative Maintenance as required Remove and start new product through conveyor entrance as required Retrieve schedule for daily run Retrieve/place product in storage area at the beginning or ending of shift Sampling as required per written instruction Scan ticket information into computer to generate Master ticket Job Skill Requirements Must have the ability to work flexible shifts. Problem solving Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication), problem solving, read standards gauges (i.e. scales, tape rule) Sense of timing in controlling progress of mat though the conveyor. Production coordination. Visually determine speed of mats. Visually determine various types of defects in the mat. Enter information into computer.
