Machine Operator

Job Title:

Machine Operator Job Description As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for performing minor production set-ups and light troubleshooting as needed. You will execute a variety of assembly operations by maintaining the flow of products efficiently. Additionally, you will prepare the area for the next job and maintain machine uptime by changing out containers quickly and restarting machines. Your role will include visually inspecting parts prior to placing them on skids and assisting with machine setup alongside Machine OP2 personnel. Responsibilities Perform minor production set-ups and light troubleshooting. Execute a variety of assembly operations efficiently. Prepare the area for the next job. Maintain machine uptime by quickly changing out containers and restarting machines. Visually inspect parts prior to placing them on skids. Assist with machine setup alongside Machine OP2 personnel. Essential Skills Production and machine operation experience. Assembly skills. Quality inspection skills. Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 35-40 pounds repeatedly for an 8-hour shift. Multitasking and ability to follow instructions. Attention to detail. Flexibility to help in different areas of the operation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience running 600-1000 parts a day. Automotive experience is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment This is a production-based shop specializing in wire bending for the automotive industry. The environment requires wearing steel-toed boots, casual clothing, and safety glasses. The machinery is older and unique, providing a challenging yet rewarding work experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Versailles, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
