Louisiana , Baton Rouge Job Description Are you a skilled machine operator looking to put your expertise to work on world-class equipment? We're searching for an Experienced Bag Making Machine Operator to join our fast-growing production team. This isn't an entry-level role — we need someone who already knows their way around Totani, B&B, or Hudson Sharp bag converting machinery and takes pride in producing quality packaging at high speed. What You'll Do Take ownership of bag converting lines from start-up to shutdown Set up, run, and maintain high-performance equipment (Totani, B&B, Hudson Sharp) Adjust seal bars, dies, blades, and guides for different runs and specs Ensure precise seals, cuts, and product integrity through real-time adjustments Troubleshoot issues quickly to minimize downtime Perform regular quality checks and maintain accurate production records Train and guide bag packers on best practices Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area following 7S and cGMP standards What We're Looking For 3+ years of direct experience operating bag making machinery (Totani, B&B, or Hudson Sharp required) Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment (food-based a plus) Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform moderate climbing Team player with good communication skills What You'll Gain Full benefits: health, dental, vision, life insurance, short- & long-term disability 401(k) with company match 9 paid holidays + 2 weeks PTO Incentivized training and cross-training to expand your skill set Relocation assistance All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
