Job Description
Experienced Specialist within the Manufacturing Machine Operations job family. Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
Experienced Specialist (Hourly)Position RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.1 - 3 years experience in woodworking, including operation of wood saws and planers. Ability to perform tool changes for saws and planers.
Capable of using standard tools and measurement devices such as micrometers and rulers. Ability to interpret safety instructions, job orders, quality specifications, and other related documents.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong math and mechanical reasoning skills.
Ability to contribute as part of a team.
Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills.
Positive can-do attitude.
Physical RequirementsAbility to work in high-noise areas and wear appropriate hearing protection devices.
Manual material handling involving the need to grip, squeeze, and pinch.
The position requires the ability to regularly stand for long periods of time.
Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and regularly lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 Must be able to complete all essential job functions listed in the position responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
