This role blends hands-on production with customer interaction, job quoting, and workflow management using our proprietary print management software. About the Role This is a position that combines digital press operation, bindery and finishing, and front-end estimating responsibilities. You will not only produce high-quality printed materials but also play a key role in quoting jobs, building estimates, and helping guide projects from initial inquiry through final delivery. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, organized, and comfortable communicating with customers while managing multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment. Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of professional print production experience (digital or offset preferred) Previous experience in a print production or manufacturing environment Experience with estimating, quoting, or job costing (print industry strongly preferred) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong math skills and exceptional attention to detail High organizational competence with the ability to multitask effectively Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to work extended hours or overtime during busy periods Manager or supervisor experience a plus Digital printing experience preferred, but we will train the right candidate Daily Responsibilities Operate Konica Minolta digital presses with inline finishing equipment Use print production and estimating software (including Fiery and proprietary systems) to prepare, price, and manage jobs Build accurate quotes based on materials, labor, and finishing requirements Review job tickets and ensure all specifications are met before production Track projects through the workflow to meet deadlines and maintain high quality Perform full bindery and finishing operations, including cutting, folding, stapling, padding, scoring, perforating, numbering, collating, drilling, booklet making, and preparing mail jobs Maintain equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and monitor supply levels Track and organize paper inventory Communicate job updates, revisions, or issues with customers and management Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area Support the team with additional production and customer service tasks as needed Work Environment We operate in a busy, fast-paced, and collaborative environment with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
