Press Operator 2nd & 3rd Shift

Pittsfield Plastics Engineering, Inc. Press Operator 2nd & 3rd Shift Pittsfield, MA Apply We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator to support daily manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for packaging, assembly, inspection, and rework of production parts while following work instructions, safety standards, and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Review work orders and work instructions to understand required tasks
• Package parts according to established work instructions
• Assemble products per specifications
• Inspect production parts for defects and quality issues
• Rework parts as necessary to meet quality standards
• Verify that scales at assigned presses are set correctly
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time
• Communicate critical job-related information to other operators, supervision, processors, and Quality Control
• Report any defects, mechanical breakdowns, or resource needs to supervision promptly
• Perform all duties in compliance with the employee handbook and safety rules
• Maintain a clean, organized, and functional work area
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervision
