BINDERY - SADDLE STITCHER OPERATOR

Job Summary This position is part of the Bindery department. You will be responsible for the setup, operation and maintenance of the saddle stitching machinery and related bindery equipment. Your role will include loading pockets, quality control and supporting other bindery functions as required. This job is Monday - Thursday with a 3 day weekend. Duties & Responsibilities Setup & operate Muller Martini 335 and 321 saddle stitchers. Set up and adjust machinery based on job specifications, including paper size, stitch count, and binding requirements Conduct routine inspections, cleaning & maintenance of equipment including repairing or replacing worn out parts on bindery equipment. Perform and assist in miscellaneous bindery functions and duties as needed. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace to promote a safe working environment at all times. Required Skills High School Diploma or GED Ability to work in a fast-paced environment ability to work occasional overtime as needed Strong communication skills, including math and reading Ability to stand while working. ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally Preferred Qualifications Minimum 3 - 5 years experience operating Muller Martini or similar saddle stitchers Previous bindery experience Mechanical aptitude to maintain and repair equipment
