Compression Technician Second Shift

job summary: Seeking a Compression Molding Technician on 2nd shift (2:15PM-10:45PM) for a high growth material manufacturing client in the Woburn, MA area. The Compression Molding Technician would be responsible for preparing materials, set up equipment, and perform basic machining and assembly (extrusion, molding, trimming, splicing). Inspect parts using precision tools (calipers, verniers) to ensure optimal output and specifications.

Machine Operations:

Prepare materials, set up equipment, and perform basic machining and assembly (extrusion, molding, trimming, splicing).

Quality Control:

Inspect parts using precision tools (calipers, verniers) to ensure optimal output and specifications.

Maintenance & Safety:

Perform routine machine maintenance and 5S tasks; adhere to PPE requirements in specialized environments.

Documentation:

Complete daily production reports and metrics accurately and on time.

Troubleshooting:

Identify and communicate technical issues to leadership and engineering teams.

Continuous Improvement:

Support LEAN initiatives, High-Performance team goals, and cross-functional training.

Logistics:

Package finished products for downstream departments to ensure workflow completion.
