Job details Summary Spherion $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Temp to Perm Various Shifts Available Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_176208 Job details Spherion is seeking a Molder to operate, monitor, and maintain injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic or polymer components. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production, maintain product quality, and follow all safety and operational standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Set up, operate, and shut down injection molding machines according to production schedules and work instructions Load raw materials (resins, additives, or compounds) into machines and monitor proper material flow Install and change molds based on production requirements Monitor machine cycles to ensure parts meet quality and specification standards Inspect finished products for defects such as flash, short shots, sink marks, or discoloration Perform basic troubleshooting and adjust machine settings (temperature, pressure, speed, cycle time) Record production data including output, scrap rates, downtime, and quality checks Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on equipment Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area Collaborate with supervisors, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve production issues Working hours: Various Shifts Available Skills:
Previous injection molding machine experience (hydraulic, electric, or hybrid) Knowledge of plastic materials and processing techniques Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments Familiarity with quality systems (ISO or similar standards) Forklift certification or material handling experience Experience assisting with mold changes or setups Exposure to lean manufacturing or 5S workplace organization Education:
High School Experience:
1-4 years Qualifications:
