Primary Responsibilities :

The duties for this position include but are not limited to the following: Accurately pick, measure and blend formulas using standard operating procedures and GMPs. Supervise and direct others in blending and batching. Operate blenders, mixers, cookers and ancillary equipment without direction and within SOP and process guidelines. Ensure proper lot coding, prepare samples for lab testing and work closely with packaging to ensure timely preparation. Continually monitor product quality and advise of quality issues. Monitor and report on food safety issues when perceived. Maintain accurate records and paperwork. To be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements: Must be fork lift qualified (training available) Able to lift 50lb bags and pails Effective communication and organizational skills Prior blending experience preferred Flexible Work Schedule
