Kit Assembler Location:
Germantown, MD Position Type:
Temp / Contract (1‑year assignment)
Schedule:
Monday•Friday 1st
Shift:
7:00 AM•3:30 PM 2nd
Shift:
3:30 PM•12:00 AM (10% shift differential)
Pay Rate:
$20.00/hour (additional 10% shift differential for 2nd shift) Position Overview We are seeking detail‑oriented Kit Assemblers to support production operations through hands‑on assembly and preparation of product kits. This role is ideal for individuals who work well in a regulated environment, follow standard operating procedures, and take pride in accuracy and quality. Key Responsibilities Perform manual assembly and production tasks following established SOPs Prepare, verify, and stage materials prior to production start Set up, operate, and troubleshoot basic production and assembly equipment Complete all production documentation accurately and on time Maintain product quality by following defined quality and safety standards Support continuous improvement initiatives and cross‑functional activities Ensure ongoing compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements (ISO, FDA, OSHA) Role Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (1-3 years of related experience preferred; AA degree a plus) Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfort working with automated or semi‑automated production equipment Basic computer skills for documentation and system use Willingness to learn and comply with FDA and cGMP practices Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly Ability to stand for extended periods of time Perform repetitive manual tasks in a production environment Additional Information Multiple openings available on both shifts Opportunity to gain experience in a regulated manufacturing environment Consistent weekday schedule
