Equipment Technician Qualifications Mechanical aptitudeBasic computer skills2-4 years: print, direct mail, Inserting, and/or fulfillment industry2 years: electronic and mechanical troubleshooting experience on automated manufacturing equipment Responsibilities The Equipment Technician ensures machines are running at peak efficiency through proper set-up, adjustment, preventative maintenance, and minor mechanical repairsPerform a variety of standard and prescribed duties to set-up, operate, and maintain mail inserter equipmentWork from schedules, samples and instructions to set-up, run, and operate selective insertersCoordinate with warehouse that adequate material is available for assigned jobsCheck output for quality, and make minor adjustments as requiredVerify material for proper stock number/code against production order/sampleConduct preventative maintenance; cleaning, checking and inspecting equipmentTrain operators on basic machine operations and the solving of minor operation issuesEducation:
