Laborer

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks such as loading and unloading materials, cleaning work areas, and assisting with equipment setup.
• Operate and control machinery and equipment on the production line.
• Handle raw materials, components, or finished products.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Ensure that products meet quality standards before and after the packing process.
• Package finished products into appropriate containers, such as boxes, bags, or crates.
• Apply labels and packaging materials according to specifications.
• Assist in fabricating and assembling products according to specifications.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure efficient operations.
• Assist in inventory management and maintain stock levels.
• Handle materials with care to prevent damage or loss.

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for operating machinery and tools.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
• Familiarity with order picking processes and materials handling techniques.

Skills:

• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
