Mattress Assembly - Coil Spring

No matter what stage of your career, you can build your future at Tempur Sealy! The mattress assembler works in teams of 2 people. Two of them lift an encased coil spring mattress assembly (40-45 lbs. each) from the floor and place it onto the waist-high table. The semi-rigid foam pieces which are pre-cut are inserted into the perimeter of the spring assembly and are hot glued together (use of a hot glue gun). The process is repeated approximately 15 times per hour for a 2-person team.

Basic Requirements:

Be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a standing position for a minimum of 8 hours or more per shift. Frequent walking, squatting, turning, twisting, pushing, bending, etc. in a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment. Excellent attendance-must be reliable and punctual.
