Only qualified "Machine Operator" candidates located near the Sparks Maryland area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presenceEducation Required
High School Diploma or equivalentEducation Preferred
Associate of Arts Degree (AA) technical degree preferredPhysical requirement
Safety shoes required
No shorts skirts open toe shoes sleeveless undershirts or torn clothing permittedExperience Required
Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience in regulated environments such as FDA production
Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment
Ability to work overtime and extended hours as needed
Ability to maintain punctual attendance for weekend overnight schedule
Experience following SOPs and GMP guidelinesExperience Preferred
Manufacturing background in food pharma or industrial production
Experience troubleshooting automated equipment
Experience with machine setup and preventative maintenanceTech Skills Required
Ability to operate and adjust automated manufacturing equipment
Ability to inspect products using gauges jigs and fixtures
Basic computer and Windows environment skills
Ability to read charts diagrams and manufacturing instructions
Basic math and documentation skillsTech Skills Preferred
Experience with quality control and statistical process monitoring
Experience maintaining FDA GMP or ISO documentationSoft Skills Required

Set up operate and monitor automated manufacturing equipment
Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot basic machine issues
Perform minor maintenance and preventative maintenance activities
Inspect in process products and remove defective materials
Maintain accurate production quality and maintenance records
Follow GMP housekeeping and safety procedures
Support assembly line functions including filling packing labeling and inspection
Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities
Perform clean up duties in production or sterilized areas as assigned
Work overtime as needed to support production requirementsAdditional Information
Weekend overnight shift Friday Saturday and Sunday from 5:45 PM to 6:00 AM
Phone interview followed by onsite interview and plant tour
Business casual attire required for interviews
