Entry-Level / No Experience Needed We Will Train the Right Person Great Pay • Excellent Benefits Start a Hands-On Career Mid-America Machining is looking to hire multiple motivated individuals to join our team as Machine Shop Trainees. If you enjoy hands-on work, like working with tools, and want to learn a skilled trade, this could be a great career opportunity for you. This is a hands-on, entry-level position with paid, on-the-job training. We're looking for dependable people with a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. What You'll Do As a trainee, you'll learn the basics of mold making, including: Disassembling, cleaning, and assembling molds Learning to use mills, drill presses, sand blasters, and metal finishing tools Working side-by-side with experienced team members who will train you on the job What We're Looking For Comfortable using basic hand tools (Allen wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.) Strong attention to detail and pride in your work Dependable attendance and a positive attitude Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion and work 40+ hours per week (Monday-Friday) All new hires train on 1st shift (7:00 AM start). Flexibility for future 2nd or 3rd shift opportunities is a plus as we continue building our off-shift teams.
