Packaging Operator - JIFFY

Our client, Chelsea Milling Company

• JIFFY, is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their team.

As a Packaging Operator at JIFFY, you will be part of the production department supporting the packaging line operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Starting pay is $18 per hour + a $0.30 per hour shift differential

Shift:

Monday through

Friday:

1st shift is 7am-3pm; 2nd shift is 3pm-11pm; and 3rd shift is 11pm-7am. What's the Job? Operate and monitor all packaging equipment including boxmaker, filler, checkweigher, top sealer, and baler to ensure efficient production. Maintain product quality by inspecting shells, cartons, and printed labels for accuracy and proper quality standards. Load, adjust, and maintain packaging machinery to optimize output and ensure safety compliance. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of work areas and equipment to uphold a safe and clean environment. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues, manage line back-ups, and ensure smooth operations throughout the shift. What's Needed? Ability to follow safety protocols and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Willingness to learn and train others on job duties. Basic understanding of operating packaging machinery is preferred but not required. Must pass a drug test (Oral

• 10 Panel) and a criminal background check (Enhanced Nationwide Search).
