Lead Mixer Steve's Mediterranean Production Plant:
44696 Morley Dr, Clinton Township, MI 48036 Monday- Friday, 8am-4pm
- $20/hour starting wage
Job Description:
Entry Level Mixer is responsible for mixing ingredients for Hummus and other dips. You will be scaling, weighing, and loading raw materials into the mixer. You may also be tasked with assisting in various ways related to food prep and production. There will be an opportunity to advance to Lead Mixer, which comes with an up to $5 hourly wage increase. This job is for you if you consider yourself to be a reliable and driven worker, if you have an interest in or prior experience working with food and want to help make the signature products of a beloved local brand.- Hours subject to change based on workload.
Requirements:
- Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic
- Must be able to work successfully both as a team and independently
- Ideal candidate is Type A, detail-oriented, follows instructions the first time, fast learner
- Preferred prior experience working in a manufacturing setting that had an emphasis on quality, process control, and safety
- Able to manipulate equipment utilizing manual dexterity
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Able to understand written and verbal instructions
- Able to push and lift items with varying degrees of weight
- Able to perform repetitive motions with upper extremities
- Must be 18 years or older
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Prepare mixing equipment at the beginning of the shift
- Mix raw materials while recording ingredient lot numbers and temperatures
- Report equipment issues to supervisors and maintenance personnel
- Maintain high standards for flavor and quality
- Follow rigorous procedures to ensure consistently delicious products
- Ensure a safe, clean working environment following our
