Lab Operator (Metals Lab) $22.75-2nd Shift 2:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m.

• Must be able to train on 1st shift (6:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.) for 1-3 months
• Starting at $21.

50/hour + $1.25 shift premium. Weekly pay.

POSITION SUMMARY

Maintain production with speed and efficiency. Be able to chemically balance a furnace with precision and accuracy. Must be able to effectively communicate issues and concerns with both the Melt Decks and Area Leaders. Will be responsible for maintaining 5S of lab area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Be able to predict if you need to add additional carbon due to fade
• Be able to pack and change out the reagent tubes
• Be able to clean and PM the combustion heads
• Be able to change out the combustion heads/tubes at shift change
• Be able to perform calibrations and know how to recalibrate if needed
• Be able to do in-depth troubleshooting (diagnose leaks, clogs, head issues) and be able to rectify the issue
• Be able to move and replace oxygen cylinders
• Be able to type standardizations and know how to recalibrate if needed
• Be able to clean the spark stands to maintain stable readings
• Be able to start the next shift's Excel paperwork and know where it is saved
• Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Able to work OT (weekends and vacation coverages) What's in it for you?
