Manufacturing Operator I:

What's a typical day as Manufacturing Operator I? You'll be: Setting up and loading materials into vacuum dryers for the production of animal-origin peptones. Performing routine cleaning, sanitization, and basic equipment checks while accurately documenting all activities. Operating pallet jacks to move raw materials and finished products within the facility. Following standard operating procedures (SOPs), GDP, batch records, and safety guidelines. Inspecting finished products for defects or deviations from specifications. Collaborating with team members and supervisors to ensure a smooth production flow and timely process completion. Performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor. This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Are comfortable working in an environment with routine exposure to chemicals, raw animal tissues, and strong odors. Can consistently wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, steel-toe boots, hair nets, beard nets, Tyvek suits, lab coats, face shields, and protective gloves. Have the ability to follow detailed written procedures and maintain accurate records. Are able to complete pre-employment screening requirements. Thrive in a unionized, team-oriented, and safety-focused workplace.
