As a Die Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting transfer and progressive dies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in die repair and possess a strong understanding of transfer and progressive dies. Offshift openings
Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair transfer and progressive dies to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Perform preventive maintenance tasks on dies to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Troubleshoot die-related issues and implement necessary repairs and adjustments. Conduct die modifications and enhancements to improve die performance and efficiency. Operate TIG welding equipment to repair or modify die components. Collaborate with tooling engineers and production teams to address die-related issues and improve processes. Maintain accurate documentation of die repairs, modifications, and maintenance activities. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Die Repair Technician or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of transfer and progressive dies and their components. Proficiency in die repair and modification. Familiarity with various die materials and their properties. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
