Grand Rapids, MI Job Details Full-time From $18 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Computer operation Machine operation Quality data entry Full Job Description The Gummy Land Machine Operator will be responsible for controlling various food manufacturing machinery to perform vital functions within the Gummy Land production process. They will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the equipment to ensure safe operations and product quality. They will be responsible for understanding the operation procedures of their machines to ensure optimal running of production, to maintain a high level of efficiency and quality. They will also be responsible for understanding and utilizing Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, to ensure safety at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform all job duties and operations in a safe manner according to policy, while following all federal, state, and industry regulations and policies Load ingredients into machine according to specifications to produce detailed and complex high-value recipes. Changeover/Wash out machinery between jobs Utilize data collection system to maintain inventory accuracy and traceability, utilize scanner to use oldest ingredients first (FIFO) Requisition supplies and maintain production records/logs Ensure correct entries into facilities software and data management systems Ensure products produced meet customer and quality requirements Adhere to strict allergen guidelines and detailed wash requirements Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor Maintains clean work area and participates in housekeeping throughout the facility Must be able to work scheduled shifts and meet attendance requirements Other activities and duties as assigned Required and Preferred Experience, Education, and Skills Minimum of 1-3 years machine operating experience, preferably within a food manufacturing setting Must be able to utilize a computer-based system to report and log information with 100% accuracy Strong interpersonal skills and consistent follow through on assigned tasks An entrepreneurial spirit that will enjoy working for start-up in a fast-paced environment Capacity to work beyond your comfort level and desire to learn new skills Ability to work independently in a highly organized manner T.H.C. is a modern wellness company dedicated to empowering a consumer to confidently improve their well-being through cannabis.
