Grand Rapids, MI Job Summary As an Inspector, you will work collaboratively on a production team to meet goals around racking, inspection, sorting, packaging, and labeling. This hands-on role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a strong work ethic, and are eager to contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality finishes. Roles and Responsibilities Maintain professionalism at all times while on the production floor Learn and understand production processes related to inspection Identify and categorize plating defects with precision Accurately enter inspection data into computer systems Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members Receive training on new parts and product requirements Operate plant equipment and organize materials Perform final packaging and labeling of products Adhere to handling and palletizing procedures Assist with material handling, inventory, sorting, and racking tasks Attach products to racks according to specific instructions Respond quickly to other duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Basic computer proficiency Ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 70 lbs, and perform repetitive motions Must wear close-toed shoes; comfortable working in hot/humid plant conditions Commitment to following safety guidelines and procedures Equivalent relevant experience required Company is committed to creating a safe, professional, and inclusive workplace where every employee is valued.
