Job Description

Operator Job Description Join our dynamic team in the Electrode Department where you will play a crucial role in the mixing process. You will work on a rotating schedule with day shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM and night shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM, including every other weekend. This position involves handling and mixing powders in a cleanroom environment, requiring attention to safety and detail. Responsibilities Operate and monitor mixing machines to ensure the proper blending of powders. Wear a full face respirator mask and protective suit during mixing and handling of powders. Carry 30-pound bags of powder up and down stairs multiple times a day. Dump powders into bins to start the mixing process, which takes 30 minutes to 1 hour. Adhere to safety protocols to avoid contact with slurry and chemicals. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cleanroom environment. Essential Skills Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience. Ability to wear a full face respirator mask and protective suit. Must be clean-shaven to ensure proper fit of safety equipment. Consistent work history with at least 9 months tenure at each job. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in production, cleanroom, assembly, and machine operation. Familiarity with general production processes. Comfortable with PPE and cleanroom environment. Why Work Here? Work Environment The facility is expansive, requiring significant walking between buildings and across the plant. The cleanroom department is meticulously maintained, temperature-controlled, and brightly lit, adhering to 5S3K standards. Employees are required to wear appropriate cleanroom attire, including garb and beard nets if necessary. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
