About Us:
APH Manufacturing is a leading provider of high-quality hydraulic cylinders, serving diverse industries including manufacturing, construction, mobile, and more. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we design and manufacture hydraulic cylinders that meet the unique needs of our clients. This is a full-time, 1st shift position. We are seeking a reliable, independent, hardworking individual. The ideal candidate possesses integrity, is a team player, problem solver, communicates effectively, has a strong sense of urgency, and strives to meet or exceed customer expectations. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for: Assembling hydraulic cylinders Inspection of final assemblies Performing hydraulic tests on cylinders Installing various hydraulic cylinder components including bushings, bearings, grease zerks, seals etc. Cleaning and preparing cylinders for painting Painting cylinders Packaging and preparing cylinders for shipping Maintain accurate within our ERP system (i.e. timekeeping, BOM management, etc...)
General Responsibilities:
Be willing to help the team in any area needed Keep work area clean and tidy Follow all safety requirements as trained from safety program. Utilize required PPE Participate in continuous improvement Adhere to all policies laid out in the company handbook Mechanical assembly experience in related industry is preferred Experience using hand and power tools Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively Strong math and mechanical aptitude preferred Good verbal and written communication skills Growth and solution oriented mindset Constant standing, lifting, bending, walking, and working with your hands throughout your entire shift Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy (up to 75lbs) items Possess basic computer skills and able to use basic web browser/computer functions Proficient using and reading tape measures and other measuring equipment
