Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused individual to join our team as Field or Warehouse Crew. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up party rental equipment, including tents, tables, and chairs, at customer locations around West Michigan. You will also help load, clean, and maintain rental items while ensuring a safe and positive experience for both our customers and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and Prep:
Load tents, tables, chairs, and other event items into company vehicles from the warehouse and prepare them for delivery.
Event Setup & Teardown:
Set up and tear down rental items in a safe, efficient, and timely manner at event locations. Ensure all items are set up according to customer specifications.
Cleaning & Maintenance:
Clean and inspect rental items thoroughly upon return to the warehouse to ensure they are in excellent condition for future rentals.
Customer Service:
Provide outstanding customer service, including problem-solving on-site and ensuring customer satisfaction with timely and efficient setups.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members, lead by example, and go the extra mile for the team and customers.
Qualifications:
Driver's License:
Must have a valid driver's license (or willingness to obtain).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50+ pounds multiple times a day and assist with physical tasks such as setting up and breaking down rental equipment.
Flexible Schedule:
Ability to work varying hours with no set end time depending on event schedules.
Positive Attitude:
Must have a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
Team Leadership:
Capable of leading a team when necessary and working independently.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to solve problems on the fly and provide excellent customer service.
Additional Expectations:
Daily tasks and schedules will vary, so flexibility is key. No set end time for shifts—event setup and breakdown will determine the shift length. Promotions and growth opportunities are available; employees move up based on their performance, desire to grow, and contribution to the team.
