Job Description

As a Machine Operator , you'll play a critical role in producing high-quality parts used in the manufacturing of heavy-duty bumpers, rock sliders, armor products, and accessories. You'll be responsible for safely setting up, operating, and maintaining fabrication equipment while ensuring parts meet quality standards and production goals. But this isn't your average machine operator position—we're a Lean company , which means every employee is empowered to improve how we work. You'll help identify waste, improve processes, and leave every machine, process, and work area better than you found it. What Makes Us Different Daily Morning Meetings

Key Responsibilities Set up and operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently Operate machinery including lasers, brake presses, surface sanders, and other production equipment as assigned Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and job travelers Verify part dimensions and inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed Learn to spot and reduce waste (we'll teach you the 8 wastes of Lean) Follow and improve standard work for all assigned processes Identify quality concerns and stop production when necessary to prevent defects Properly handle, move, and store raw materials and finished goods Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Lift up to 50 lbs as needed Perform other duties as assigned Reporting Structure This position reports directly to the Value Stream Manager .
