Position Description and Purpose:

Key Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:

Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams with swivel-hooks, hoists, or elevated platforms, to load, unload, transport, or stack materialInspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete deliveryManually or mechanically, load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.

Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated areasWeigh materials or products and record weight or other production data on tags or labelsUnderstand and follow the order of materials for FIFOForecast needs of the line and stage the line appropriately to maintain necessary materials available that allow production to run smoothlyInspecting equipment, structures, or material to identify causes of errors or other problems or defects and reporting then through the appropriate channelsRoskam Foods offers a competitive compensation package that includes medical, dental, and vision benefits, tuition reimbursement, life and disability insurance, and a 401 (k) plan with company match.
